Dr. Harvey was born and raised in North Platte, Nebraska. Believe it or not, she always looked forward to visiting the dentist as a kid! Inspired by her dentist, she decided to follow in his footsteps during her freshman year of high school.

Dr. Harvey attended Hastings College, where she played basketball for a few years while majoring in biology. She proudly became the first in her family to graduate from college. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2023 and completed a two-year pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in 2025.

During her residency, Dr. Harvey gained advanced expertise in providing dental care for children and patients with special healthcare needs. Her training at a highly regarded pediatric dentistry program equipped her with specialized skills to treat children of all ages, backgrounds, and unique challenges. In addition to caring for patients in a traditional dental setting, she provided various sedation options, including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), conscious sedation, and treatment under general anesthesia in the operating room. Dr. Harvey worked closely with multidisciplinary teams at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, collaborating with specialists beyond the scope of dentistry. She was also honored to serve as Chief Resident of her class.

Dr. Harvey’s decision to specialize in pediatric dentistry came naturally. From grade school, she has held a deep affection for children with disabilities. Her love for spending time with kids, along with her enthusiasm for coaching young athletes and caring for her younger siblings, guided her toward this career path. During her time at Hastings College, she interned and worked at a pediatric dental office, where she discovered how to combine her passions to create a lasting impact on children’s lives.

Dr. Harvey has always known she wanted to open a dental practice in a rural Nebraska community, where access to specialized care can be limited and families often have to travel long distances for the care their children need. With her leadership skills and dental expertise, her goal is to make a positive impact not only on her patients but also within the community and the surrounding areas. She strives to inspire and uplift children, just as her dentist did for her. Dr. Harvey is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where children feel confident, cared for, and comfortable throughout their dental visits—and beyond.

Outside of the office, Dr. Harvey enjoys walking her dog, watching the latest TV shows, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and staying active. She loves traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with her loved ones. Dr. Harvey is excited to be in Columbus, NE, with her fiancé, Troy, and their dog, Nala.
