Our Insurance & Financial Policy
At Columbus Pediatric Dentistry, our mission is to provide exceptional, personalized dental care in a child-focused, welcoming environment—where your child’s comfort, health, and long-term well-being are always our top priorities.
We’ve chosen to operate as an out-of-network provider, which means we are not contracted with any private dental insurance networks. However, we’re happy to work with all insurance companies on your behalf and will gladly submit claims to help you receive any benefits your plan may offer.
By remaining out-of-network, we’re able to focus solely on what’s best for your child—without the limitations, delays, or restrictions insurance companies can sometimes impose. Our recommendations are always guided by your child’s unique needs, not by insurance policies.
We work for you—not your insurance company.
Dental Insurance at Our Office
If you have dental insurance, we are happy to help you by filing claims as a courtesy on your behalf. While we are not contracted with any private insurance networks, we will work with your insurance provider to help you maximize your out-of-network benefits. The majority of common dental insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits!
We are happy to send pre-authorizations to your insurance company.
To help us process your claims efficiently, we ask that you:
- Provide a current insurance card and driver’s license
- Inform us of any policy changes before each appointment
Please remember: It is your responsibility to know and understand your dental benefits (coverage, deductibles, and reimbursement policies).
Payment Expectations
Payment is due at the time of your child’s appointment.
We accept:
- Cash
- Personal checks
- Major credit cards
- Payment Plans through Cherry, Sunbit, and CareCredit
Your child’s treatment, including any hospital-based or office-based general anesthesia, requires payment prior to the procedure.
Communication & Clarity Are Key
We will always provide a treatment plan with clear explanations and estimated costs before proceeding. If you ever have questions about a service or are concerned about the cost, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Our goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident about your child’s dental care—every step of the way.
We’re Committed to Transparency and Quality
We know that choosing your child’s dental home is a big decision. Thank you for trusting us to care for your family. Our insurance and financial policy model reflects our commitment to putting your child first—always.
If you have any questions about our financial policy or would like help planning for care, please don’t hesitate to contact our office. We’re happy to help!
